Located on the 3rd floor of the Ronald Williams Library, the Curriculum Materials Collection (CMC) supports the education program at NEIU with a large selection of resources to aid teachers.

Streaming video programs by Annenberg Media can be viewed on demand. Free registration is required for all first-time users. To search the Annenberg collection, use the NEIU Library Catalog. In the advanced search mode, set the location limit to Annenberg streaming videos and type Annenberg in the search box.
Visit the CMC to browse more than 20,000 laminated pictures, artistically designed book jackets, and pamphlets, which are useful in creating lessons and bulletin boards. Special borrowing limits may apply.
The CMC provides books and magazines for children in K-12. Most winners of Newbery, Caldecott, and Coretta Scott King awards are included in the collection, as are the New York Public Library's 100 Picture Books Everyone Should Know.
The Children's Magazine Guide and Horn Book Magazine publish helpful reviews of children's literature.
The CMC offers a reference collection with encyclopedias, atlases, and dictionaries for children and teachers. Materials from the CMC Reference Collection cannot be checked out.
The Kraus Library is a collection of curriculum guides from school districts across North America, available online.
The CMC contains in-depth research papers by NEIU graduate students in special education and mathematics. The Library's special education collection goes back to 1985, while the mathematics collection goes back to 1990.
The CMC provides highly rated software for the K-12 classroom, as well as a modest collection of college software. Special borrowing limits may apply.
The CMC's teacher resources include lesson plans, thematic units, and other teaching guides covering all subject areas at all grade levels. Special borrowing limits may apply.
The CMC test collection consists of intelligence, achievement, and psychological tests. You'll need to bring your NEIU ID to the MLRC service desk on the 3rd floor of the Ronald Williams Library to use the collection.
Please note that some restrictions may apply to photocopying tests. Tests cannot be checked out.
The CMC's K-12 textbook collection focuses on exemplary textbooks and those in use in the Chicago Public Schools. Please note that textbooks cannot be checked out.
