Multimedia Learning Resource Center (MLRC)
Located on the 3rd floor of the Ronald Williams Library, the Multimedia Learning Resource Center (MLRC) provides technical assistance and access to a variety of audiovisual equipment and digital editing media in support of class projects, research, and University initiatives.
Users of the MLRC must comply with copyright laws and the University's Acceptable Use Policy (PDF). Violations may result in the loss of Library and/or University privileges. Please bring a valid NEIU ID card when using the MLRC.

Hours
The MLRC closes 15 minutes prior to the Library building. See the Library hours for specific days and times.

The MLRC includes:
- audio CDs, cassettes & phonograph records;
- audiovisual course reserves;
- DVDs & videotapes;
- CD-ROM multimedia programs;
- standardized educational & psychological tests;
- Margaret Farish Collection of 20th Century Music for Students;
- Sylvie Koval Memorial Collection of String Chamber Music;
- Gomberg-Koval Chamber Music Collection.

- preview room reservations (limit 3 people)

- support for duplication and digital reformatting of materials

Equipment
The MLRC offers the NEIU community the following equipment:
- image scanners
- black & white printer
- keyboards for recording original music
- preview rooms for viewing videos and DVDs on reserve
- Mac workstations for using educational software
- high-end audio stations for listening to and duplicating materials
- PC and Mac workstations to support a range of digital audio and video applications
- high-speed cassette duplicators
- equipment for people with disabilities
Software
A variety of software programs is available for in-house use on the MLRC workstations. Programs support:
- music software,
- audiovisual editing,
- music theory.
