Questions: Report a Printer, Computer, or Network Problem
Printers
Black and white printers are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Ronald Williams Library. One color printer is located on the 2nd floor of the Library. Send jobs to either type of printer from any of the Library's public computers.
Printing and photocopying equipment in the Library is managed by the campus Document Management Services unit.

Photocopiers
Black and white photocopy machines are located on the 2nd floor of the Ronald Williams Library. There is also one color copy machine on the 2nd floor.

Scanners
Image scanners are available on the 3rd floor of the Library in the Multimedia Learning Resource Center (MLRC).
Microfilm Readers
Microfilm readers and printers are available on the 2nd floor of the Library. Microfilm printouts costs $0.10 each and are not covered by the student print quota.
Computers
Workstations for library research are available on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Ronald Williams Library. Read-only versions of Microsoft Office applications are available at Library workstations to enable printing of existing documents. To edit documents using Microsoft Office, and for access to other applications, visit an NEIU computer lab.
Public computer workstations in the Library do have sound cards. However, users must supply their own headphones to listen to music or to watch videos on Library computers.
Personal Laptops / Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi access at the Ronald Williams Library is free to visitors with laptop computers or hand-held personal digital assistants (PDAs). It is available throughout the Library building.
Please note that you cannot print from your laptop. Use a Library workstation if you plan to print your research.
Technical requirements
- DHCP configuration
- Wi-Fi card supporting either 802.11b, 802.11a, or 802.11g (operating at 802.11b speeds)
Log in requirements
Select the Unsecured network. No password is required.
Fax Machines
The Library does not offer fax services. A fax machine is available on campus at Beck's Bookstore.
Audiovisual Equipment
Audiovisual editing and viewing equipment is available for NEIU students, faculty, and staff at the Multimedia Learning Resource Center (MLRC) on the 3rd floor of the Library.
