Special Services for People with Disabilities
The Ronald Williams Library is committed to making its resources available to all members of the NEIU community with equipment and services for people with disabilities.

Equipment
- An Optelac color and black & white magnifier (3rd floor)
- A TDD telephone (3rd floor)
- JAWS screen reading software (1st floor - PC 16, MLRC, CCICS)
Please note that equipment is reserved for patrons who have identified themselves as disabled at the Accessibility Center (ext. 5495).

Services
Search help
Library staff can help patrons at the Ronald Williams Library to search on the public terminals for books and articles, no appointment necessary.
However, if you require more than 15 minutes of help, please make an appointment with the Library by calling (773) 442-4415 or ext. 4415.
Book & magazine retrieval
Staff from the 1st floor Circulation Desk will retrieve books from the shelves for patrons with disabilities.
Copying materials
Copy Center staff will copy library materials at the copy center on the Library's 2nd floor. The costs will be charged to your NEIU debit account. If staff is unavailable on the 2nd floor, please seek help from the Reference Desk on the 1st floor.
