Log into My NEIU Library Account to view due dates and request renewals.

Requires your 14-digit Library Borrower ID—printed on your NEIU ID—and last name.

Eligibility

All NEIU students, faculty, staff, and alumni, or individuals from other I-Share members' institutions may borrow Library materials by presenting a valid university ID.

Loan Periods & Limits

There is no limit to the number of items you may check out from NEIU's general collection or the new book area. However, other materials have special limits.

NEIU students and alumni can keep books and government documents for four weeks, with the option to renew. NEIU faculty and staff have longer loan periods. Special materials, including new books, have various loan periods.

NEIU doesn't determine how long you can keep books borrowed from another library. The lending library creates that policy. The due dates are enclosed in the book and listed in your account.

Items for Library Use Only
